Arkham Horror Is A Bad Game

Arkham Horror is an BAD game that does everything to make sure you never have fun. It destroys all hope right from the let go with its complexity and difficulty. It confusing! Everyone, even veterans of this game get confused, worst of all it drives away new people. It has a rule book that only scratches the surface of the game, leaving the players wasting time on Google looking for the answers. A tonne of pieces to lose! They made expansions, WHY?! The Odds are always against you, the feeling of progression is lacking throughout the whole time playing. Even if you do beat the game you feel like shit. The only way to truly win the game is to never to play.

This is game is based from H.P Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos, which is its only redeeming feature.

Well said. I love the Cthulhu Mythos but goddamn it is a struggle to play any games based off the lore. Still great but holy damn it's draining to play for multiple hours and still fail because EVERYTHING is out to get you.

Have you guys trued Eldritch Horror? It is sort of a remake of Arkham Horror where they got rid of alot of unnecessary mechanics, which streamlines the gameplay alot.

Not toention the second expansion for it, The Mountain of Madness is just simply brutal fun.

I'll probably have a play of it in the near future, to see how bad it is.
