ok let me set the stage!

campaign setting: a powerful church empire has been waging ware on the 'unpure ones' for centuries, basically anything other than humans, dwarves, elves and a race of angels is 'cleansed' from the world. because of this, most of the beastial races fled to a land protected from the coming invasion, under the rule of an ancient dragon. recently the humans have doubled their efforts to invade, it is decided that the beastial races must unite and form an army to fight back, the players are sent around to gather forces through great deeds! or money!

there is a half ogre paladin
a ratfolk alchemist
an NPC minotaur
and an NPC darkstalker acting as guide

during their travels they stumbled upon an incursion attempt by the enemy church, they free some slaves and manage to find a secret entrance into the enemy strong hold. from here they surprise and kill 15 human guards and free a bunch more prisoners. now they decide to head up into the main rooms of the stronghold.

the ratfolk and darkstalker find a library with 12 acolytes studying together at the far end of the room, currently oblivious to them. between the party and the acolytes is a large, heavy mahogany table. the ratfolk and darkstalker fall back and devise a plan with the rest of the party.

they enter the library, all somehow passing their stealth checks (including the minotaur and ogre) and the two strongest take up position on either end of the table. they then proceed to light the table on fire with ratfolks oil, and lob the table at the acolytes.

two 20's later and the acolytes have been crushed by a flaming table, none of them see it coming...it was like fish in a barrel
