February is DM appreciation month!
So, apparently February is DM appreciation month. Here is 28 ways to show appreciation for your DM over the appreciation month: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
In addition, I think we should take the time to share our most memorable experience in the RPGs run by our DMs. Try to capture a moment where the DM really hit their stride creating a truely unique experience.

Re: February is DM appreciation month!
DM Dingo: the game the springs immediately to mind was the Celtic game when we encountered the water sprite.
A paladin sprinting by the lakeside to reach the party. A tidal dome powering through the loch. A tell tale sign that a great power has been awakened. The party almost TPKed. The scene was described perfectly, the danger was incredible, victory was within reach but not without a dominating challenge.
DM CC: There was a moment during an encounter in the derelict city on chargos. The assassin PC found herself alone with only the cover fire of her sister the PC sniper and the projected mind of their pyker companion to aid her. Her foe? An evisor assassin.
The fight was harsh, incredably dangerous but with only the partial presence of half the party we were still able to put down the awesome threat.
DM Popdart: it was a moment we all knew was coming but didn't want to happen. The party had just evacuated the city hall of the middle hive and moved to find the source of the communications, broadcasting blasphemy.
The source was the maintenance Hub of the hall. Boilers, pipes and machines. Here we found our enemy barking into his communicator. He then inhaled the ruinus profane gasses of his chemical airesol and mutated into a plague daemon. The encounter was formidable, nearly claiming a PCs life, followed closely by number of near misses, threatening wounds of equal magnitude.
